A joint hire between History and African American Studies, Dr. Germany is the editor of several documentary editions of Lyndon Johnson's White House recordings, including LBJ and Civil Rights (a digital edition forthcoming from U.Va. Press's digital Rotunda imprint). Dr. Germany is also the co-founder and co-editor of www.whitehousetapes.org , editor of www.americanpresident.org, and a former host of For The Record, a PBS interview program on politics and history.

Projects

Dr. Germany is currently developing documentary history projects that make extensive use of digital technology.
